what ARE THE FIVE PRECEPTSOurWisdom-Eye at the moment is crowded with some obstructions madeby our own ignorance and previous deeds of unvirtuous actions.To clean it we need the hand of someone who knows. We need a greatpower from God which we all have within us, if only we could openthe 'tap' and then it would run out. It is like a water tank fullof water, but with the tap obstructed. So if you wish, I can repairthe tap for you, free of charge and free of conditions exceptthat you should purify yourself, lead a virtuous life, and keepa virtuous diet. From today on you must vow to never take fleshagain, never take any lives, never tell a lie, never steal, etc.It is exactly the same as the Ten Commandments of the Bible, orthe five Buddhist lay precepts which say: Don't kill, don't telllies, don't commit adultery, don't steal, don't drink alcohol,gamble or take drugs.
..... Q. It is mentioned on the initiation sheet to neveruse spiritual power to cure another's illnesses. Could you commenton that? I live in a community where so many people do healingwith their hands, and other types of healing.
M.You see, if you want to be a healer, then do healing. If you wantto know the whole, including healing, then you must leave it fora while until you know the whole. Then you can heal. Heal withouthealing. People will just see you and get healed. You don't needto do any kind of mudra, or mess up their magnetic field. If youare successful in healing one person today, can you guaranteethat he will not get sick tomorrow? You understand? It is notcomplete. And also, when a person gets healed by a spiritual healer,he believes in that spiritual healer, instead of believing inhis own healing power within himself. That is dangerous for both,for the healer and the patient. The patient believes in the healerand the healer gets more ego. So the best way to heal a personis to become Christ. Heal without healing. Heal without knowing.
..... Q. What do you mean by psychic healing being an obstacleto one's progress? If someone uses his hands to heal naturallywith a method called Reiki, is this acceptable?
M.If you want to be fully enlightened, you must not interfere withother people's karma. Because by doing this, you will lose yourspiritual force, and remain in the physical side.
..... Q. Is it necessary to meditate two and half hours everyday? Why?
M.We have to meditate two and a half hours because it is necessaryto cleanse our soul, our infected areas, with a lot of elixir.Now, if you are dirty from a day's work, and you come home, youneed two gallons of water, no less. Every day we mix in the world,and are infected by others, affected by everyone around us, andby our own unavoidable misdeeds. For example, when we breathewe kill a lot of invisible beings, when we eat vegetables, wekill vegetable lives. So the two and a half hours are like twogallons of water to wash our souls. If you wash with one and ahalf gallons, it is also okay, but you are not completely clean.Then tomorrow you will add again some more dirt, and you onlyclean with one gallon. Thus every day you are not completely clean,and you may smell one day. (laughter)
..... Q. Regarding the five requirements you must follow inorder to be initiated. What would happen if you do not followthem?
M.Then you don't. What else can I do! Try again, okay? If you thinkthat it is good for you, and good for others, and it is like aprotective fence around our spiritual sapling, then we keep them,and don't make damage to your just grown sapling. Otherwise, noone is there to condemn you, or do anything to you, except yourown conscience. So try to keep to that, and whenever you fall,stand up and try again.
..... Q. Why can't we mix other methods with the Quan YinMethod of meditation?
M.Concentrate and be one-pointed with my teachings in order to getthe best result. If you meditate on my teaching and on money atthe same time, or meditate on another mantra, of course you willbe divided. This is very logical. I am not a dictator, I justtell you what is good for you. Whatever you want to do, you haveto put all your attention on that point. People think that I amforbidding you this and that. No! Everything I tell you is justgood advice, and the duty of a teacher. But of course you makeyour choice. If you do not follow me, it is okay. You are responsiblefor your actions, the success of your meditation practice, butI am responsible to tell you what is good for you. Okay? EverythingI tell you is the age-old concentrated essence from practitionerswho want to get away from the traps of materialism, and rise abovethis mind-matter controlling power, so that they can realise thatthere is something greater than their own body and their own machineor brain computer. So all these are like secret codes, or secretmethods to speed yourself on the highway to spirituality. It isall your choice. The path of freedom is a path of responsibility,of self-responsibility. So I never impose anything, I just suggest.
